In general beer , wine, and liquor can be purchased at licensed facilities, including grocery stores. The sale of alcoholic beverages in the state of California can occur weekly between the hours of 6 a.m. and 2 a.m. every day, including Sunday.
Grocery and convenience stores can sell beer and wine from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Restaurants and bars can serve from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Saturday. No alcohol sales begin before noon on Sunday. It’s illegal to sell alcohol on any election day while polls are open.

Legal hours of public consumption begin 7 a.m. Monday – Saturday and noon Sunday. Legal hours of public consumption end at 2:15 a.m. if in an extended-hours area. Otherwise, legal hours end at 12:15 a.m. Sunday night – Friday night and 1:15 a.m. Saturday night.
Sunday sales While restaurants, bars, and grocery and convenience stores can all sell alcohol on Sundays , liquor stores cannot. Under current law, Texas liquor stores cannot operate on Sundays and can only remain open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on other days of the week.
