So is Hopsy worth the money? Ultimately, there’s isn’t anything terrible about The Hopsy SUB—but there are a few reasons why you just don’t need to buy it. If you prefer to have variety in your beer -drinking life, you’re better off buying 6-packs and storing a selection in your fridge.
How much does it cost ? The club membership, in which you receive 4 “Torps” or mini kegs (each one is equivalent to a six pack), is less than $60 a month . When you sign up, you have the option to either purchase or rent the machine.
Once your beer delivery has arrived, Hopsy offers a fairly simple setup: open the bottle, slot it in to the Hometap, connect a tube from the bottle to the tap, and let it refrigerate your beer . The Hometap will keep a tapped bottle cold and fresh for up to two weeks, ready to dispense from the tap.

Our Verdict. The Sub is a fantastic way to enjoy beer at home. It isn’t the cheapest way, but it’s still easy to recommend and the range of Torps is growing.
